FROSTY BLUE SMOKEY EYE

FROSTY BLUE SMOKEY EYE I was SO inspired by the color Axis from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture palette for this look. I saw that blue and was like 'you shall be my main attraction!'. I ended up mixing a few different palettes to get this look but I LOVE how it turned out so much. I used the white highlight from the Ofra Cosmetics Beverly Hills Highlighter Wheel on the lid and it's so frosty and metallic I love it. This whole look came out so much more wearable than I was expecting, and I hope you guys like it as much as I do. Let me know in the comments below what you think, everything I use to complete this look is listed below. CRANBERRY SMOKEY EYE

CRANBERRY SMOKEY EYE  For this look I was playing around with my Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette. I'm not always in the mood for such romantic colors but I was filming a video and wanted something really wearable but colorful. One of my favorite shades from the palette is Vermeer which is a somehow frosty shadow that looks like pale pink snowflakes on the eye. I LOVE it.  Let me know in the comments below what you think, everything I use to complete this look is listed below. GOLD GLITTER GLAM

GOLD GLITTER GLAM Alliteration is apparently my strong suit. For this look I wanted to use neutral tones but give it some kind of POP to make it glamorous and bold. So I went with some loose glitter from NYX to really make the lid stand out. This is the first look I've photographed with my NEW SOFTBOXES! *Thunderous applause* I cannot tell you how excited I was to get new lighting, and it's amazing. It illuminates  everything so clearly and makes my pictures come out so clear! All my photos are going to be jumping up in quality and I'm so thrilled about it!  Let me know in the comments below what you think, everything I use to complete this look is listed below. SUBCULTURE PALETTE IS IT SALVAGABLE?? | REVIEW PART 2

SUBCULTURE PALETTE REVIEW PART 2 TRAILER I was SO on the fence about getting this palette. I heard such wild reviews about it: that the palette was awful, that it was perfect, that there was a manufacturing error, that it was going to be recalled, that it was a 'pure pigment' *which makes no sense* and wasn't sure whether it was worth the effort. Finally I decided that I needed to try it for myself and see what I thought about it. This is the second part of a 2 part review (first part was swatches/first thoughts) about whether the Subculture palette was even usable, and HOW you should be using such a unique formula. Watch the video in the link below if you want to see what I think! SUBCULTURE PALETTE SWATCHES/FIRST THOUGHTS | REVIEW PART 1

ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS SUBCULTURE PALETTE REVIEW I was SO on the fence about getting this palette. Swatches are a decent indicator of color tone and pigment, but that doesn't really speak on how they perform on the eyes. Watch the video in the link below if you want to see what I think! METALLIC GREEN SMOKEY EYE

METALLIC GREEN SMOKEY EYE I cannot tell you how much I LOVE this look. Everything turned out exactly the way I wanted and I cannot tell you HOW WET the metallic looked in real life. I kept going to the mirror and turning my head in the light and watching how the light danced across my eyelid. It also felt weirdly cooling *maybe I used too much setting spray*. Setting spray is such a beauty guru addiction, and it's quickly becoming one of mine.  This was my third attempt at using the Subculture Palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills. I also mixed in shades from the Modern Renaissance Palette, and a loose NYX Pigment in Brighten up.
