4 REASONS WHY I'M GOING TO BUY MORE LIPSENSE

LIPSENSE REVIEW

I filmed a first impressions/review of the product that I'll link at the bottom this article. BUT in the interest in giving you more detail about this product I'm going to be telling you 5 Reasons Why I'm Going to Buy More LipSense.

Several months ago I was approached by a distributor of LipSense *as I'm an Instagram beauty blogger* if I would be interested in receiving a 50% off discount in exchange for a review of the LipSense Starter Kit *this is not sponsored, just trying to be transparent*.

I had been interested in purchasing LipSense since the reviews for it started pouring in, and this was just the motivation I needed to get around to trying it out, getting a massive discount! I recieved the product from @yourlipology on Insta *the girl's name is Bree she's so sweet* and received the package promptly 2 days later.

Shade 'Blu Red'

1. It really is transfer proof!

I'm the kind of person that does a lot with my lips during the day *wink wink*. Mostly just kissing my daughter, eating burgers when I should be eating salads, drinking water because beauty guru's told me it'll make my skin look AMAZING *still yet to be proven*, and not ONCE did it even transfer onto the surface. Yes, the moisturizing gloss you place on top of the color to make it longlasting did, but it's clear and not too sticky so no color actually transfers.

Shade 'Caramel Apple'

2. The range of shades and finishes is enormous!

If you look at the online catalogue you have an insanely ENORMOUS range of colors and finishes. It really stunned me. I've showed it to friends and family and everyone one of them with WILDY different taste found a shade and finish they liked. They had frosty, matte, warm, cool, neutral, and it's honestly refreshing to see a great lip products have a great shade range.

Shade 'Bella'

3. The learning curve is pretty fast!

The first time you use this product you HAVE to read the instructions provided. There is no getting around it, and for those that had trouble applying it and removing it, it's because they DIDN'T READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! Yes, you could debate lip products shouldn't need instructions, that it should be beginner friendly, but the beauty blender didn't have instructions at first and I among many was the idiot who used it dry and was like *why isn't it working???*. Once you use it the first time, every time after that gets easier, and it becomes an everyday product.

4. The company has great service and isn't 'pyramid scheme-y'!

Customer service in the makeup industry can be really hit and miss. Companies can be wishy washy about apologizing, and straight up deceitful with their claims on products, but this is one of those rare times where the claims were 100% true! Having that kind of integrity in a business based mostly on vanity is really admirable, and I don't have to feel guilty buying from them again.

Though this product is pricey $25 a tupe *whaaat??* you won't be disappointed. So all in all I give this product a:

WILL BUY AGAIN/WOULD RECOMMEND TO OTHERS

SMOKEY LAVENDER EYELOOK FOR FAIR SKIN

SMOKEY LAVENDER EYELOOK  With such extremely fair skin, I have a hard time pulling off these colors without looking washed out. Muted antique tones look amazing on warm or dark skintone but with cool toned pink skin it's difficult to pull off. I balanced out the color with deep browns and black to make it more SMOKEY. If I had used cool tones in the crease and outer corner it would have looked like a giant bruise on my eye. The wing got away from me, I don't know what happened. FROSTY BLUE SMOKEY EYE

FROSTY BLUE SMOKEY EYE I was SO inspired by the color Axis from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture palette for this look. I saw that blue and was like 'you shall be my main attraction!'. I ended up mixing a few different palettes to get this look but I LOVE how it turned out so much. I used the white highlight from the Ofra Cosmetics Beverly Hills Highlighter Wheel on the lid and it's so frosty and metallic I love it. This whole look came out so much more wearable than I was expecting, and I hope you guys like it as much as I do. CRANBERRY SMOKEY EYE

CRANBERRY SMOKEY EYE  For this look I was playing around with my Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette. I'm not always in the mood for such romantic colors but I was filming a video and wanted something really wearable but colorful. One of my favorite shades from the palette is Vermeer which is a somehow frosty shadow that looks like pale pink snowflakes on the eye. I LOVE it.  Let me know in the comments below what you think, everything I use to complete this look is listed below.
